I’m looking for an experienced Supabase/PostgreSQL engineer to finish an existing backend migration for a SaaS application.
I’m moving the application from its current managed Supabase backend to Supabase projects that I own, with separate Production and QA environments.
Much of the work is already prepared, including the database export, migration scripts, GitHub Actions workflows, safety checks, and dry runs. I need someone to review the existing work, fix any remaining issues, and safely complete the migration — not start over.
The work includes:
- Complete and verify the Production migration
- Finish and verify the separate QA environment
- Verify database, Auth, Storage, RLS, functions, secrets/cron jobs, and integrations
- Verify the business, customer-facing, and platform/admin sides
- Set up/verify a safe GitHub → QA → approval → Production workflow
- Confirm the application no longer depends on the old backend after successful cutover
Strong experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions/CI/CD, and Production/QA migrations is required.
