Basic Video editing includes>

  1. Importing Footage: The first step is to import the raw video footage from a camera, smartphone, or other sources into video editing software.

  2. Organizing and Selecting Clips: Once the footage is imported, you'll organize the clips and select the segments that best fit your desired narrative or message.

  3. Trimming and Arranging: Trim the selected clips to remove any unwanted parts, such as mistakes, pauses, or irrelevant content. Arrange the remaining clips in the desired sequence to create a logical flow.

  4. Adding Transitions: Smoothly transition from one clip to another using various types of transitions, such as cuts, fades, dissolves, wipes, or slides.

  5. Titles and Graphics: Include titles, lower thirds, and other graphics to provide context, identify speakers, or add visual interest. These elements can be animated or static, depending on the desired effect.  
  6. Exporting: Once the editing process is complete, export the edited video into a format suitable for its intended purpose, such as uploading to a website, sharing on social media, or burning it onto a DVD.
