Chicago White Sox move to a big win

$30/hr Starting at $25

In the series finale against the Cincinnati Reds, the Chicago White Sox had a chance to extend their winning streak. They had just achieved their first series victory of 2023 earlier in the week, and they now had a chance to repeat it.

The bottom of the first inning saw Jonathan India hit a single shot to give the Reds a 1-0 lead, so things didn't look good for them right away. It was all White Sox after that.

They scored 11 runs in the top of the second inning, effectively ending the game that inning. The team's offensive performance during that inning was among its best ever. It was the largest since 2007.

The White Sox went on to win 17-4 after that. They were tremendously dominant in the game, something they really needed. Everyone is aware of how poorly this season has gone, but recently, they have been playing much better baseball.

On Sunday, the Chicago White Sox received all the support they required.

On the mound for Chicago, Michael Kopech was fine. Eight hits were permitted, but only four runs were scored. He can improve this as the year goes on because all four of his runs came off solo shots. Both better and worse outcomes were possible.

Because of the score, the bullpen played exceptionally well under very little pressure. They only gave up a total of two hits and no runs throughout the required three innings.

After losing 10 straight games, they have now won two straight series and five of their last seven games, which is unquestionably a move in the right direction.

They have a short turnaround because they are going to Kansas City to play the Royals. They want to keep being the only team in the division in 2023 that is currently poorer than the White Sox.

On the mound, Dylan Cease will be looking to restart his throwing career. Things will go nicely for Cease in this one if the offense can have another strong performance.
