Can an Excel sheet be incredibly powerful and visually stunning? Yes. Here is how I transformed a massive, messy real estate dataset into an interactive, galaxy-themed executive tool. No Power BI, Figma, or Tableau were used.
❌ THE PROBLEM:
The project started with over 8,000 rows of raw, chaotic real estate data. It was riddled with duplicate listings, special characters in random cells, broken date formats, missing property values, and mixed-up regional names. Trying to find trends or calculate average property prices manually is an absolute nightmare and takes hours of scrolling.
🛠️ THE SOLUTION (Built entirely in Excel. No External tools):
Power Query Data Cleansing: I built an automated system to instantly scrub all 8,000+ rows. It wiped out duplicates, filled in missing values, and standardized the text in one single click.
Interactive Architecture: Connected the clean data to dynamic city, property type, and year slicers so users can filter thousands of rows instantly without any lag.
Custom UI Design: I broke away from boring spreadsheet styles. I designed a fully customized, aesthetic "Galaxy and Nebula" theme using deep space blues, purples, and neon glowing accents for high visual impact.
