• Strong technical background in networking, operating system, system administration and performance monitoring • Providing planned maintenance activities and providing support to operations and service delivery teams • Deep knowledge of Shell scripting • Creating new technical solutions and strategies • Develop and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with networking, storage, software development, and project management teams • Working closely with other IT departments to help determine and develop systems that will be implemented • Provides guidance and troubleshooting for complex technical issues • Interacts with application teams and when required end users to resolve escalated problems in the areas of installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance • Provides technical support and research related to the definition, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of applicable systems, applications, products, and services • RHEL and Centos system Administration • Operations support and troubleshooting experience including Server Configuration, Monitoring, and Scripting • Experience in Virtualization technologies like VMWare, RedHat KVM and Oracle VM • Build new virtual and physical Linux systems as needed • Systems Administration of servers which includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications/databases running on them in virtual environments • LVM(Logical Volume Manager) administration • Implements updates on server hardware and software • Managing server configuration • Monitors and manages the use of disk space, memory, and connections • Manages accounts and permissions for Linux, VMware, and UNIX servers • Performs server backups and restores • Experience with infrastructure services such as NFS, Samba, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, • Experience with Amazon AWS (EC2 , S3, Load balancing). • Provides support on adding/removing users from network, resetting passwords. • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts and protocols. • Will provide system support and system administration for Linux systems development life cycle • Will ensure Linux operating system is highly available while providing optimum performance • Strong knowledge in any Firewall, mail server etc. • Hands on experience on DNS management, TCP/IP and Domain Registration, • Experience in Domain Management and Web Hosting (WordPress) • Security Implementation in Linux Servers (CSF and APF Firewalls ) • Server tunig using nginx,gzip and redis
