Engaging e-learning that connects

$40/hr Starting at $100

Recall a learning experience, whether online or in a classroom, that left you indifferent, bored and exhausted and you sat there wondering when will the torture end? Worried if you might do or are doing the same to your learners? And now recall a great learning experience, whether online or in a classroom. How did that make you feel? I bet even thinking about it now, brought a smile to your face and flooded your brain with dopamine – the feel good hormone. Yeah? Want a similar learning experience for your learners? Learning takes places when the learner is emotionally stimulated, not when his/her mind is dumped with a content. Learning is not an activity that you tick off your checklist, it’s an experience that changes behavior and/or enhances understanding. So you want something that engages your learner, and while they are taking your online course, they forget they were learning because you know, they were having fun. (Pssst…they were learning too, unconsciously *wink* *wink*) But how do you achieve that? Elements of humor, engagement, awe, skillful story-telling, playfulness, and gamification all go into it to thoughtfully come up with learning material that: • you can’t stop blushing over, So now you know what I do! I get into my learner’s shoes to design and develop e–learning that resonates with them. If something in an e-learning module is confusing me, it is perhaps confusing my learners too. • Storyboarding • These are applicable to: I use the following tools: • Adobe Captivate I use the following learning experiences: • My vast and varied work experience as an instructional designer If you still have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message me on guru.
