British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will visit the US next week. In his statement, Sunak's spokeswoman noted that Prime Minister Sunak will organize an official visit to the US capital, Washington, DC, on June 7-8 and that he will meet with US President Joe Biden, members of Congress, and US business executives within the framework of his visit.

Expressing that the free trade deal was not on the agenda during the Sunak and Biden meeting, the spokeswoman stated that strengthening the level of cooperation and coordination in the economic challenges between the USA and the UK and assistance for Ukraine would be discussed during the meeting.

FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT

Sunak, who assumed office in October, will make his first official visit to Washington, DC. Biden invited Sunak to Washington DC during their visit last March in San Diego, California, USA, for the AUKUS deal between the USA, England, and Australia, which includes the possession of a nuclear submarine by Australia and exchanging technology in this area.
