I've transcribed and translated from Spanish to English oral history for the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage. I'm a native speaker of both languages and have used them through all my academic and professional life, being born in Puerto Rico doing my Masters in Spain and working now for the Smithsonian in DC. In this sense I can easily translate essays, blog entries, professional texts, audio clips, etc. The same applies to translations from Spanish to English.
