I have been working in apparel design (primarily costume design) since 1996 on full time basis, owning an independant business of costume design and sales. I currently work with wholesale manufacturing as well as couture and retail production.My primary skills are product development sourcing domestically. I also excel in management, presentation and event production. I have over 18 years experience pattern making, apparel design and creation. My primary experience is in product design and development from initial concept through sampling, patternmaking, to production. My designs are heavily based on historical garments. By making use of best practices in construction and manufacturing I create superior fitted, artisan quality historical apparel. I have over 18 years experience in the field of apparel (costume) design for couture, off the rack and wholesale manufacturing. I work in my home studio based in CA.
