I am a native speaker of English and Spanish, being half Colombian and half Scottish. I was born in France and therefore also speak French fluently. Furthermore I currently study BA French and Spanish Modern Languages at the University of Reading in the UK. I have a lot of experience writing in the three languages and an able to successfully translate texts in said languages, using the format and style required according to the context. I have had experience carrying out internships in the three law firms: Descartes Solicitors (London), At Descartes the CEO strives to reach out to clients of different nationalities and I therefore translated the website and brochures and was used also to speak in a video in Spanish aiming to target Spanish speaking clients. Alberto Perez Cedillo is a Spanish law firm in London where I was used to translate many legal cases. Finally, Sergio Cabrera Abogados was where I carried out my placement during my year abroad in Colombia, as part of my undergraduate degree. Since school, I was always been an avid translator for my friends when they have needed me for cover letters, CVs, creative writing etc. I have experience translating from Spanish > French, Spanish > English, English > French, English > Spanish and French > Spanish, French > English, which provides flexibility.
