I have 16 years of professional experience as a web developer, front to back. I have particular skill and a concentration in the front end. For a quick intro to my skills, my experience includes JavaScript (15 yrs), AngularJS (3 yrs), jQuery (6 yrs), HTML (19 yrs) with HTML5 (5 yrs), CSS (15 yrs) with CSS3 (7 yrs), REST (8 yrs), JSON (6 yrs), Photoshop (15 yrs), Git, Bootstrap, Foundation, Sass, server side development in a variety of languages and database systems (15 yrs), and more. I don't yet know Ruby, but I would love to learn it. Other skills include application architecture (with a passion for MVC), responsive design, a simultaneous eye for small details as well as the big picture, API service design and consumption, a passion for learning, and quirky humor. In addition to being a programmer, I am also an artist, so I enjoy creating responsive, modern UI layouts. I stay abreast of best practices by keeping an eye on development blogs, reading design patterns, and “Good Parts” books, learning from co-workers, and by following my own experience and intuition.
