Interaction plays a crucial role in digital design. But my opinion is that digital can not be done well without knowledge of principles applied in print (that formed over centuries). And knowledge of interaction is just a layer on top of those principles. Well done interface makes it easy for user to interact with your application, but it also adds complexity in designing one, as today you have to think about screen resolution, device type and other things that never existed in print. I’ve been learning both print and digital for years. I started with web design, but then moved back to print, as I had felt that I missed something. Today I am willing to apply all my knowledge to help you with your product.
