Instrumental Music Composer/Audio Design

$15/hr Starting at $25

I'm a professional game level designer and a self-taught musician who loves to create original sounds and music by experimenting with the thousands of tools and instruments I've accumulated over the years. And I have way too many! So it would take many lifetimes to even graze the surface of all the possibilities for music composition I could come up with!

I completed several audio and video projects for good friends friend - such as an OST for a video game, a music video using Blender, a piece of trailer music for a gritty animation project - and seeing as they were pretty happy with me, I decided that I would give exporting these skills as a freelancer a go.

Hopefully, I can put them at the service of people other than my friends or my crazy self!

In my own music projects, I tend to be very organic, experimenting with sounds and chords until something makes my ears tick. Then I roll with it, build it as I listen and play, never fully knowing where it is going to end up, though I do try to maintain consistency and a certain vision.

If you listen to what I do, you can notice that it contains a lot of rhythmic changes, airy pads, and layers of otherworldly and eery atmosphere, with a hint of industrial and the occasional saturated guitars.

I'm confident that I can help you with any kind of musical projects, should you request a soundtrack for a game or a film, production for an instrumental song, sounds effect and mixing.

Of course if you need some extra weird experimental stuff, I'm the person you should also call!

I'm very focused and serious about what I do and I like to throw rough versions very quickly and get as much client feedback as possible so I know I go in the right direction, meaning a direction that will satisfy you. This is what I've been doing at my work as a game design for the past 12 years, and I apply the same professionalism and drive to my own projects and those of others.

I'm good at receiving and treating feedback quickly, so I'm always able to send you quick samples for you to follow up and pick from the ones you prefer.

Then it's all about building it up until it's all good and polished!

I'm also flexible and the opposite of uptight and lazy so I like to think you'd have fun hiring me to put your musical ideas or mixing in motion!
