Ensuring facilitation of ITIL and Projects for Mercedes Benz (MB) and Daimler Truck (DT)
- Ensuring requests and changes submitted by Mercedes Benz Group are done within SLA
- Two days a week onsite at MBSA and MBFS and Two days a week onsite at DTSA and DTFS
- Ensuring Firewall, Server, Network and any other Infrastructure related requests are actioned
- Setting up weekly meetings with customers with updates on progress related to Requests, Changes, Projects Billing.
- Ensuring that billing is up to date with POPs, Invoices and POs
- Recurring meetings with teams for requests and changes that take longer than normal to complete
- Constant engagement with Wintel, Server, Firewall and Security teams to ensure requests are complete timeously
- Constant engagement with customer IT Managers and CIOs to ensure no major issues with IT Operations
- Constant engagement with customer IT Managers and CIOs to ensure alignment for company strategy and budgets

Responsible for Management of Server Infrastructure and Maintenance as well as holistic Cyber Security – Hands on Leadership Role.
- Management of 10 direct resources – approx. 60 indirect made up of Windows Server Engineers, IBM Server Engineers, Linux server Engineers, Sophos Security Engineers, and Contractors.
- Management and Support of Complete O365 Environment – Global Admin.
Management and Support of Complete Mimecast Environment – Super Admin
- Basic Support and Administration of AWS Cloud
- NOC, SOC, SIEM management and vulnerability identification and remediation for environment

- Role is 20% Strategy, 50% Infrastructure Operations, 30% Administration
- Weekly Cab Meetings
- Bi-Weekly Project and Operations Meetings

- Management of Contractors and Vendors, Budget (ZAR 50 million 2023), Reporting
- Licensing, Hardware, Software, Device Management and Procurement
- Jira Tool for Service Management (including Change Management) – with alignment to ITIL framework.
- End to End Service Delivery as per SLA with business.
- Measurement of Services based on metrics as well as user feedback surveys.
- Continuous auditing and compliance of environment, ensuring Governance, policies and procedures adhered to. - SOP documentation on Confluence.
- Monthly Server Patching (Windows, Linux, and IBM Servers)
- Quarterly Role Swopping of IBM Servers for failover testing
- Quarterly DR testing with business
