I build in Make.com, Zapier and Google Apps Script, and I build the way an engineer would. Idempotency so nothing double fires. Retry logic with backoff so a transient API failure does not silently drop a record. Error branches that alert a human instead of dying quietly. An audit trail you can actually inspect when someone asks what happened on the fourteenth.

A representative project: a Make.com to QuickBooks Online revenue architecture covering the full invoice, payment, undeposited funds and deposit flow, scoped as a deterministic and idempotent pipeline so a rerun can never create a duplicate record.
