From my time at Disney, the beauty industry, and while earning my MBA, I've developed a wide range of marketing plans for industries spanning entertainment, fashion, consumer package goods, food, travel, skincare, family, and fitness. I use an approach that balances data with creative: I conduct research of target segments and competition to develop strategies that also take into account the unique positioning, feeling, and "vibe" of each brand I work on.
In a very crowded marketplace with too much noise, it's critical for your brand to say the right thing in the right way to the right audience. I can help you develop a brand positioning, or revamp your current one, to best display your unique selling point. I'll conduct competitive and market segment research to determine your unique positioning, then create documentation on how your brand should look, feel, sound, be priced, and marketing best practices to keep your brand on track.
SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT STRATEGY
I can develop your company's marketing plan from the ground up, but I also have a great deal of social media and digital content experience. There's a difference between just using social media, and using social media as part of a business strategy. I can develop your company's social media marketing to be a strategic extension of its goals, communicating in the right way your unique selling point and points of differentiation to the right audience.
I've been working in digital and social media marketing for 11 years with a heavy focus on editorial and content strategy. I just completed my MBA at UCLA Anderson in their fully employed program. Most recently I was Director of Social Media for a beauty marketing company where I oversaw all social media marketing for six brands. As a consultant, I've developed whole marketing plans for startups, or created strategies for specific elements of a firm's marketing i.e. their social media marketing, social content, website, or launch plan.
Previously, I worked at Disney for over eight years as part of the team that launched all social media marketing for The Walt Disney Company, all of its brands, films, franchises and characters. While there, I managed social media campaigns for film releases, and was in charge of Pixar's social media for two years. Later, I founded Disney Style, a fashion and lifestyle brand for millennial females with a Disney twist. I developed the brand positioning, created the editorial strategy for the website, social media strategy, managed the team, oversaw our video slate, and branded content campaigns
