At a meeting of the North Atlantic Council, NATO defense ministers gather.

On the second day of their gathering in Brussels, the defense ministers of the NATO nations convened.

Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that they will address the preparations for the NATO Summit to be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, on July 11–12, at the beginning of the North Atlantic Council Meeting held as part of the NATO Defense Ministers Meeting.

Stoltenberg declared that they would evaluate their European military strategies and take action to meet the rising demand for defense industry output.

According to Stoltenberg, they will build a new, more ambitious defense investment commitment, and within this framework, he anticipates that an agreement will be made to devote at least 2 percent of the nation's gross domestic product to defense.

Sweden's Defense Minister, Pal Jonson, who was invited to join NATO, also attended the Ministerial North Atlantic Council Meeting.
