NATO: closed the doors to Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made statements about Ukraine's NATO membership at the event he attended in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. When asked whether the Russia-Ukraine War made it easier for Ukraine to join NATO, Stoltenberg said that Ukraine's NATO membership was not on the agenda when it was at war with Russia and said, "Yes and no. I think everyone understood that being a member in the middle of the war was not on the agenda. "That's not the point. It's more of a question, in a way, of what happens when the war ends. And of course the war brings Ukraine closer to NATO."

Borrell claimed that Ukraine received 220,000 artillery shells and 1,300 missiles as part of the three-stage plan enacted by the EU nations on March 20. Borrell stated, "The coming days, weeks, and months will be strategically decisive in the war in Ukraine," noting that the EU is on track to meet its target of providing 1 million rounds of ammunition to Ukraine within a year.

"F-16 pilot training for Ukrainians has begun."

Before the meeting, Borrell declared that Ukrainian pilots have begun training to fly F-16 fighter jets. When asked which nations the pilots began their training in, Borrell responded, "For instance, in Poland."
