1. Inventory applications, network connection information (and drives), and user data from old computer.
2. Backup user data and locate installation software for existing applications and hardware.
3. Unpack and setup new computer.
4. Install and setup existing hardware and drivers as needed.
5. Install and setup existing software on new computer as needed.
6. Ensure mail, videoconferencing, and any other network applications are installed and configured.
7. Restore user data to new computer as needed.
8. Pack up and prepare old computer for disposal/transfer.
