My experience as an illustrator and graphic designer started in college (UC Davis) where I worked for the campus newspaper as an ad artist and cartoonist. Upon graduation I landed a job as art director for a toy company in Eugene, Oregon where I helped develop their award winning line of rubber stamps and activity kits for children. In 1984 I moved back to Davis where I started my own freelance career creating illustrations and print graphics for a wide range of clients. Clients have included the Department of Boating and Waterways, Contra Costa County Dept. of Utilities, Sacramento Dept. of Transportation, The University of California, California Coastal Commission and countless individual customers. Whether you need a spot illustration for a newsletter or an entire book illustrated I am up to the task. As you can see from my work samples, my forte is in humorous or cartoon style images.
