Operations Project Manager at Landrex Technologies - Taiwan Capital Equipment Company that purchased worldwide manufacturing rights from Teradyne for PCBA Automatic Optical Inspection equipment.
Challenge:
Transfer technology and material sets from Teradyne USA to Landrex Taiwan and China.
Actions:
* Hands-on management of all inventory material inventory planning and procurement for prototype project of Automatic Optical Inspection equipment needed to prove design and offshore production.
* Negotiated with Teradyne's vendor base to restart production buys on project components for short runs at volume pricing after a year of down time. I established Vendor Credit lines for Landrex USA.
* Coordinated prototype builds at Contract Manufacturers with Taiwanese engineering technicians to transfer product knowledge. I oversaw warehouse logistics and sea shipment to Taiwan and China.
