Responsive Web Design

$35/hr Starting at $50

I joined my last full time job as a Digital Designer and then become a Front End Developer. I was responsible for TLC’s MRP Network, where I would create campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands.

The campaigns would offer incentives to the consumers for their purchases. Each campaign would include a landing page and an application form, HTML emails and various social media icons. A basic site structure was created in Angular and I would work on the HTML, CSS and JavaScript elements to bring the site to life. Azure pipelines were used for version control, and we worked in an Agile environment.

It was a great opportunity to work for brands such as McDonald’s, Adidas, John Lewis, Kellogg’s and Kinder (and many more). When working to pre-approved designs, the campaign artwork was usually provided in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD or Figma, and I would turn the designs into mobile friendly websites, using Visual Studio Code and TLC’s custom built CMS, based on Umbraco.

As the only Front End Developer for the global company, it was a very busy and rewarding role. Markets included the United Kingdom, USA, Australia, Brazil, Singapore and all across Europe.

Before TLC, I’ve held numerous Digital Designer and Front End Development positions for a variety of agencies and companies. Since then, I have been working on a Shopify site for a freelance client, a website for a theatre production and contract work with a B2B company.
