Root Words Writing Solutions is focused on providing freelance writing and marketing services. I have over eight years of experience working as a writer and marketer for professional baseball organizations, small non-profits, associations, and multinational corporations. My work has resulted in increased web traffic, customer retention, and in one case, more than doubling a record sales total for an annual event. I currently work full-time as a marketer and content writer for one of the largest professional associations in the United States. I have nearly a three hour train commute daily where I love being productive and honing my skills as a marketer and writer. Having the opportunity to help passionate individuals build their brands and entice consumers with captivating content is truly a fulfilling endeavor. My Bachelor of Arts degree is from the University of Iowa in Communication Studies. I also have a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Communication Management from Purdue University and will be finishing a Master of Science in Communication from Purdue University in May 2016.
