Along with being an expert and award winning software developer *, I've been writing technical blogs every once in a while in the past 7 years, sometimes I write on my Wordpress blog [ MrAlshahawy.Wordpress.com ] and a few times for technical websites. I'm a bit - actually more than a bit - straight forward and bold in my opinions, and I believe in positive criticism and how it helps tech. companies to be better, which leads to better services, which leads in many ways to have a better world. A few years ago I got rewarded by Nokia for writing an article discussing - More accurately criticizing - Nokia store "Price Point Policy" and how it may affect the developers on the long run. In the past 10 years I developed and published dozens of applications for various OSs and on different apps stores, and the most important key to success is listening to my customers feedback and never take their criticism the wrong way, their opinions what kept me evolving to be a better software developer. "Ashraf was a highly valued member of the Nokia developer community. He contributed numerous articles demonstrating how to work with Nokia platforms, and on two occasions was chosen to receive the coveted "Contributor of the Month" award. I was regularly impressed by his insight into what issues were of concern to developers, and his pragmatic approaches to addressing them.
