The record for the last 20 years in the number of spots on the sun

Over 160 spots appeared on the surface of the sun in just one month, exceeding the previous 20-year record. According to scientific predictions, the Sun's spot count could reach 115 by 2025. Current data, however, indicate that this amount has already been surpassed. Keith Strong, a solar scientist, also posted the most recent information on his social media account, noting that the previous record from September 2002 had been surpassed.

The number of sunspots produced in a single month was exceeded in June, when the sun produced more than 160 spots, the most in the previous 20 years. On the Sun's surface, however, a massive region saw a catastrophic explosion. These explosions cause a plasma eruption, which becomes a solar storm when radioactive plasma particles hit the Earth and interact with the magnetic field. The most recent solar storm to hit Earth had an effect on the United States.
