I have excellent listening skills. I understand most accents and can differentiate between many speakers at once. I am highly proficient in grammar, parts of speech, and the correct use of punctuation in transcription.
I am acutely knowledgeable with the distinct differences between transcribing a strict verbatim transcript, a verbatim transcript, and a clean transcript and can produce any of these, depending on your specific needs.
My work profile includes hundreds of hours of transcripts for a variety of clients including city council meetings, town hall meetings, courtroom testimony, television captions, medical and scientific lectures, as well as university lectures, corporate conferences, interviews and legal dictation.
My strengths include an impressive network of professional clients. Much of my success is attributed to client referrals and repeat business.
My rate is a minimum of $45 per audio hour for one to two speakers and $55 per audio hour for three or more and/or focus groups. I normally require a minimum of 24 hour turnaround per audio hour, and am available weekday evenings, and anytime on the weekends.
