Word Processing

I have 30 years experience in the fields of data entry and word processing with local and federal government, and, in addition, form and database development and maintenance for local government. I have 3 years experience with OCR software and am capable of scanning documents, editing them for correct content, then converting the data to Word, Excel, Adobe, or FilemakerPro documents. I am capable of converting hardcopies, scanned documents, copies, or digital photo images to editable and searchable electronic files. I also have one year experience in proofreading and editing a manuscript for the purpose of publication.
My strength is my ability to research and write about medical topics, covering a wide variety of subjects. I am capable of translating complex medical language into easily understood information for the general public.
