About

Teaching hands to play and hearts to listen.

I first picked up the violin at nine years old, and it quickly became more than just an instrument—it became my way of understanding the world. Over the past two decades, I’ve built a multifaceted career as a session violinist, composer, educator, and performer across genres and mediums.

My professional journey includes recording on Sam’s Town by The Killers (a Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum album), composing original scores for indie films and video games, and performing with ensembles ranging from gypsy jazz quartets to electronic acts. I’ve also been featured on the Music Student 101 podcast, where I shared my approach to musical storytelling and creative development.

Alongside my work as a performer, I’ve taught violin to students ages 3 to 100, helping each learner develop a strong technical foundation while nurturing creativity, confidence, and a deep love for music. I specialize in Suzuki-based early instruction, adult beginners, and students seeking to explore both classical and contemporary styles.

My values as both an artist and teacher center on curiosity, expression, and adaptability. Music is not just a discipline—it’s a dialogue. I’m passionate about helping others discover their voice, whether that’s through a bow stroke, a composition, or a quiet moment of musical connection.

Outside of music, I’m also a visual artist and photographer, and I love collaborating with my son, who keeps me both grounded and inspired.
