About

A corporate lawyer from Ukraine.

My name is Alex Khlopenko, I've obtained an LLM degree from top Ukrainian Law School Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University.

I worked as an associate at CMS Cameron McKenna, at corporate and financial practices. I supported a number of deals in the GAFTA framework and dealt with other commodity trading contracts. Prior to that, I worked in an international tax planning law firm in corporate structuring and tax optimization. I've worked with all the major European and Asian banks.

Most recently I've supported a number of cross-border and domestic M&A deals in US and EU for green energy companies. I worked with US-based companies (mostly SME and start-ups) from the first rounds of seed investments to full-fledged corporations.

With years of experience in academic and business writing, I provide clients with articles, white papers, op-eds, copywriting and copy editing, business proposal preparation, and more.
