Work Terms

Scope of Work
I will design and build a responsive WordPress website as agreed in the proposal, using your supplied content (text, images) and any third-party assets you approve.
Any additional features or changes beyond the agreed scope will require a new estimate and may affect timeline or cost.

Payment Terms
A deposit of 50% is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due on delivery of the final site before the website goes live.
If payment is late, I reserve the right to pause work until outstanding amounts are settled.

Client Responsibilities
You must provide required materials (copy, images, branding files) in a timely fashion so the project can stay on schedule.
You confirm you have necessary rights or licenses for the content you provide.

Timeline & Delivery

Project timeline is an estimate and begins once deposit is paid and I have all required materials.
Delays caused by late client feedback or supplied materials may result in timeline extension.

Ownership & Licensing

Upon full payment, you will receive ownership of the final website deliverables.
I retain the right to display the website in my portfolio unless otherwise agreed.
Any third-party themes, plugins or frameworks used remain under their original licences and may require your licence to maintain.

Warranty & Maintenance
I offer a 30-day warranty on the website after launch for bugs or issues arising from the development I performed.
It does not cover issues caused by client edits, third-party changes, or hosting problems.

Limitation of Liability
My liability is limited to the amount you paid for the project. I am not liable for indirect losses, business interruption or other consequences beyond the work itself.

Termination & Cancellation
Either party may terminate the project with written notice. You will pay for all work completed up to termination date.
If you cancel after work has started, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
