As a Systems Engineer, I am good at troubleshooting, doing research and learning about new tools/technologies to achieve the requirements efficiently. Automation is one of the vital skills that I possess and have employed throught my career as an administrator/engineer, using various tools (mostly Bash scripts and Ansible).
My experience revolves around: Nginx, Apache2, Debian, Ubuntu, Bash scripts, MySQL, Ansible, Phusion Passenger, rbenv, PHP-FPM, popular PHP CMS deployment (Wordpress, Drupal, ...), DNS, iptables, memcached, Redis, Git, Docker.
Also I know my way around popular services including: AWS, Linode, DigitalOcean, Github, Bitbucket, CloudFlare.
Tasks I have performed include: server provisioning, server monitoring setup, web server optimization (cache, tuning), backup system setup, corrupt database restoration, database replication setup, point-in-time database recovery.
