I've been in the graphic design field for over 15 years now. In 2012 I got a position as a packaging production artist--- where I updated packaging. I was unaware at the time that being in packaging also meant designing logos for the company's private labels. and at the same time I realized that certain aspects of the package design process just came natural to me--- specifically creating/understanding die lines and package structure. so I decided to focus on working in package design because it combines a talent that I really didn't know I had with something I really enjoy doing.... which is designing logos and brand identities.

Since 2012 I've worked on packaging for major brands such as Disney®, Dreamworks® Stanley® Tools and Build-A-Bear®. I've also had the opportunity to design logos for various industries including bedding, baby/toddler and kitchen & bath. My most recent major brand packaging project was for the U.S. Soccer Team. The company I worked for at the time had secured a license to produce a custom Rubik's cube® for the brand. I used their brand guidelines to design a Rubik's cube® that had images, graphics and patterns for the 6 panels--- and trophy case style packaging for shelf display.

Recently (June 2025) I was chosen to design a logo for a company sub brand called Legacy OS. the client wanted the log to reflect the feel of the brand and they preferred that the logo be spelled out. the logo for the mother brand, PIKO, used a sans serif font. so I decided to stay with that font/style consistency and create a logo where the word "Legacy" and "OS" would be seen as one mark, but still contrast each other to emphasize both.

Work Terms

my hours for work are 9am–2pm then 4:30pm – 6:30pm (all times are EST).

I like to follow a milestone structure in terms of payments. this means that payments are required at certain stages (or milestones) in the design process. generally a payment is due after a design concept has been chosen. a second payment is due after the final vector logo has been approved (after all edits have been made). the final payment is due after all requested file formats have been sent/received.
