I’m Christian Stayton, a Missouri-based software engineer and IT professional with more than 20 years of combined experience in development, systems administration, networking, and technology leadership. My background includes serving as Director of Information Technology and developing custom applications for business clients.
My services cover two connected areas:
• IT Services: Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Linux, networking, firewalls, VPNs, virtualization, and technical troubleshooting.
• Software Development: Custom web applications, internal dashboards, API integrations, workflow automation, SQL reporting, document processing, and improvements to existing software.
My development experience includes Python, FastAPI, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and SQL databases. I have built solutions involving ERP integrations, logistics data, OCR document processing, and automated reporting.
Because I also support production systems, I consider how software will be deployed, maintained, and used by the people who depend on it. I focus on understanding the business problem, defining a practical scope, and delivering work that can be tested and supported.

Work Terms
Availability: I am based in Missouri and operate in U.S. Central Time. Project schedules, meeting times, and response expectations are agreed upon before work begins. Remote services are available, with ongoing support arranged separately.
Scope and Pricing: I accept hourly and fixed-price projects. Each engagement starts with an agreed scope, deliverables, estimated timeline, and price. Additional requests or changes in scope are reviewed and approved before extra work proceeds.
Payment: Payments are handled through Guru. Fixed-price projects use agreed milestones, with the applicable milestone funded through SafePay before work begins. Hourly projects follow the billing terms established in the project agreement.
Communication: Guru messages are preferred for project updates, requirements, and approvals. Calls or video meetings can be scheduled when useful. Please provide relevant documentation, access, and feedback to help keep the project on schedule.
Delivery: Testing, documentation, deployment assistance, and handoff are included as specified in the agreed scope. Future enhancements, maintenance, and ongoing support can be quoted separately.
