I was born to write!
I started writing even before I knew how to. I scratched all rough paper my parents had at home, trying to design words, early on. I always wrote personal diaries, having completed something like 40 notebooks when I was between 14 and 16 years old. Shortly after, the blogging world exploded on the internet. I created my first blog right then, and I've been the author and writer of 8 different blogs since that time. Today, I maintain 4 blogs, all different from each other (one is about fashion, one about music, one is about the city of Lisbon - where I live - and lastly, one is about deep thoughts and in which I share my poems).
When I was about 17, I wrote and edited a poetry book.
My major writing work was my Master's Thesis, which I fully wrote and orally presented in English, and in which I obtained 18/20 as final grade. I collaborated in diverse scientific researches and in the writing of the results' papers.
Also, I wrote for two different national magazines, I work (also as a freelancer) for a website which gives me free passes to watch concerts and write reviews on them, and I've been invited to write for other blogs as well.
Since writing is my passion and what I am good at, I thought, why not develop a career out of this? And help other people for whom writing can be such a drag.
I do not want to convey that I am the best or even arrogant, but what can I say? Writing is, indeed, my vocation.
Portuguese is my native language, therefore, that's the language I am better in writing. But I also am fluent and write quite well in English, having lived one year abroad, in which I took university courses in English.
Work Terms
I work based on transparency and I am very deadline oriented.
In order for me to provide a professional work, I need the client to tell me exactly what he needs and when he needs it done. I'll be honest, and tell him/her if I can do it within the deadline or not. I am not here to deceive anyone. I just want to make a living by doing what I love most and do best: to write and to translate.
