Everything starts with a good design and success starts with a great user experience.
This is my philosophy: Everything starts with a good design. If you look around, everything you see somehow relates to design. Therefore, it is key to have an enjoyable user experience for every design.
This means:
- Work in an agile environment, where everything is continuously improving, design should excel at the beginning and throughout the process.
- Test ideas before the development process begins helps to reduce development lifecycles.
- Build a code based prototype, focusing on the layout, interactivity, usability, responsiveness and theme so that the design will help evoke the vision of the product but will also allow the users to interact with the higher fidelity prototype and give more realistic feedback.
- Results of prototyping help to creating an emotive response is the definition to a successful project because this means design has given the best possible experience to the user.
- Building the HTML5/CSS3 prototype will allow quick turnaround time to development completion because the product will already be primarily tested and developed, so all that is needed is iterations based on the feedback.
Quick small iterative projects will help to ensure high quality work in a short time frame that can be continuously built upon over time.
