Since 1997, I’ve built a multidisciplinary career at the crossroads of user experience, interface design, and narrative-driven and interactive digital media. With over 27 years of hands-on experience, and 14+ in creative leadership roles, I specialize in shaping cohesive, intuitive, and emotionally resonant products for clients across the video game, web, app, multimedia, and marketing industries.

As a Senior UX-UI Designer, I’ve contributed to AAA titles, enterprise platforms, marketing ecosystems, and web/mobile experiences. My expertise spans UX research, information architecture, UI systems, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and production-ready interface assets. I’ve also led branding and marketing asset creation (print and digital), UI/HUD systems for video games, and front-end design strategies for corporate platforms and e-commerce. From clean UI flows to responsive design, my process is grounded in user logic, accessibility, and high production standards. I bring clarity to complexity, delivering interfaces that not only function but guide, convert, and communicate.

At the same time, I’ve spent much of my career as a Creative and Narrative Director, Lead Game Designer, and Narrative Designer. I’ve led the design and narrative on over 20 game projects and assists on many more (AAA, AA, and indie), including Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Far Cry Instinct: Evolution, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, and The Protagonist: EX-1, Shadow's Light - Tale of the Champions. My responsibilities have ranged from gameplay systems design and level design to worldbuilding, character arcs, and cinematic structure. I’ve also directed voice acting, supervised narrative pipelines, and collaborated with technical and art teams to unify story with interaction.

I’m recognized for my ability to bridge disciplines, bringing UX and narrative together, backed by production logic, visual communication, and design thinking. I integrate generative AI and LLM tools where needed to streamline workflows, prototype, or support teams with advanced automation, always respecting production constraints and creative intent.

Projects I’ve contributed to have earned multiple international awards, including:
- NYX Game Awards (Best Indie PC Game, Best PC Game, Best Innovation)
- GDC Best in Play (2022)
- Spike VGA (Best Action/Adventure Game) for Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
- PC Gamer and BAFTA Awards for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon

I’ve also worked on titles published or developed in collaboration with Ubisoft, Crytek, and several large to mid-size studios. Over the years, I’ve built an extensive network of collaborators, allowing me to connect clients with trusted partners when additional expertise is needed.

Clients hire me not only for what I create, but for how I think; balancing user needs, project goals, and design systems with innovation and storytelling.

Work Terms

Availability
I work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time, New York/Toronto).
I do not accept contracts that require weekend work, although I may offer overtime when needed, outside of formal agreements.
For smaller contracts, I work in my own timezone unless otherwise specified. For larger or long-term contracts, I may align my schedule to the client’s time zone.
Response time to new messages is typically same day, or within 48 hours during peak production.

Engagement & Payment Terms
I accept both fixed-price and hourly contracts.
For projects under $1200, I offer fixed-price only. Minimum project value is $300.
I do not provide extended unpaid consultations or exploratory meetings for projects under $4000. One or two short calls may be offered before signing.
A 30% deposit is required for all contracts above $500. Larger projects may be split into 3 payments: 30% to start, 30% at midpoint, and 40% at delivery.
I currently use Guru’s SafePay system exclusively. I do not accept PayPal or cryptocurrency payments. (contact me)

Communication
Email is my preferred method of contact.
I use Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack, or Discord for meetings.
Phone calls are accepted by appointment only.
I respond to Guru messaging but recommend email for direct follow-up.
For local clients near Montreal, in-person collaboration may be possible.

Delivery Formats
Figma is used for UX-UI, wireframes, and design systems. PSD, AI, EPS, or high-resolution PDFs are used for image and vector design.
Game and narrative documents are delivered in DOCX, PDF, XLSX, Notion, or other formats depending on the client's pipeline.
I always choose the simplest and most efficient method for each case.

Languages
I provide all services and communication in English or French only.

Limitations
I do not offer coding, 3D art/animation, IT, or VFX services. I can recommend trusted collaborators if needed.
I do not provide server hosting or infrastructure.
