Work Terms

Hours of Operation
Available Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Asia/Colombo time). Urgent or off-hour requests can be accommodated upon prior arrangement, ensuring smooth scheduling and timely delivery.

Payment Terms
• Fixed Price (Milestone-Based): Projects are broken into defined stages, each with a delivery date and fee—ideal for clarity and budget management.

• Hourly: Tracked using Guru’s Time Tracker, with invoices issued every Tuesday and editable timesheets available until Monday.

• Task-Based: Assign discrete tasks paid upon completion—great for small, ad-hoc work.

All payments should be processed through Guru’s SafePay escrow system: funds are deposited before work begins and released once milestones or the full project is approved, ensuring trust and security.

Communication Style
Communication is handled primarily via Guru’s WorkRoom messaging system - a central hub for updates, file sharing, revisions, and feedback.

Expect regular updates at key project stages or at least once every 2–3 working days to stay aligned and efficient.
