I have an extensive international background, having attended school in India, China, Burundi, and Burkina Faso, and received training in Ghana, the United States, Kenya, Moldova, and Djibouti. I have also had the privilege of visiting four continents: Africa, Europe, America, and Asia.
Work Experience: With over 30 years of experience in various fields, I have developed a diverse skill set. Beginning my career as a secondary school teacher, I later transitioned to a radio journalist for 5 years. Following that, I spent 11 years as a senior translator, head of protocol, and head of the translation and protocol sections. Additionally, I have worked as a communications officer for a year and spent 5 years as a translator and administrative assistant. My extensive experience and expertise make me a valuable asset to any team.
Anecdotes: In high school, my French teachers were consistently impressed with my in-depth knowledge of the French language. They would often have me write my dictation test on the blackboard, hidden behind a curtain, which would then serve as an answer key for the other students. I consistently received perfect scores and was even nicknamed 'Monsieur sans faute'. Despite my teacher's skepticism, I had never studied in France. I remember one day having to spend three hours in the sun while one of my French teachers investigated my background with the school authorities.
