I’m Dewan Sakibul Islam, an AI Engineer and Python Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience building AI, software, automation, and backend systems.
My core expertise includes Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Autonomous AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, FastAPI, REST APIs, NLP, Web Scraping, Automation, Docker, and Linux.
I have hands-on experience across the AI development lifecycle, including dataset preparation, NLP preprocessing, LLM architecture, pretraining, fine-tuning, inference, API development, agent orchestration, tool integration, automation, and deployment.
One of my key projects is Astra-Tiny 91M, a Bengali-English LLM that I designed and pretrained from scratch using a custom LLaMA-based architecture with approximately 91.5M parameters and 66.8M+ training tokens.
I also work with Ollama, vLLM, llama.cpp, Hugging Face Transformers, and cloud-based AI models, allowing me to build both locally hosted and cloud-powered AI solutions.
My other projects include a Lead Generation Custom Agentic Framework for automated business research, lead discovery, qualification, enrichment, validation, and data extraction, as well as an OpenClaw Custom API Endpoint for integrating autonomous AI agents with external applications through FastAPI and REST APIs.
I’m comfortable working with existing GitHub repositories, unfamiliar codebases, APIs, third-party services, production environments, and complex technical requirements. I focus on understanding the root problem, building reliable solutions, testing thoroughly, and delivering maintainable software.
I work independently as an individual freelancer, while also being comfortable collaborating with developers, designers, AI engineers, project managers, startups, and established teams.
My goal is to build practical, scalable, and reliable AI and software systems that solve real-world problems.
