Work Terms

1. Scope of Work
All freelance work will be based on a mutually agreed scope, including deliverables, deadlines, and revisions. Any additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.

2. Timeline
Project timelines will be outlined before work begins. Delays due to late feedback, content, or approvals from the client may result in adjusted deadlines.

3. Payment Terms
A 20% deposit is required to start work.

The remaining 80% is due upon final delivery or project completion.

Payment is due within [7/14] days of invoice.

4. Revisions
Includes [1-2] rounds of revisions unless otherwise agreed.

Additional revisions may be billed at an hourly rate of [$30/hr].

5. Cancellation
If the client cancels after work begins, the initial deposit is non-refundable.

If the freelancer cancels, a partial refund will be offered based on work completed.

6. Ownership & Usage Rights
Final approved work becomes the client’s property upon full payment.

Unused concepts or drafts remain the freelancer’s intellectual property.

🔁 Retainer Work Terms
1. Monthly Hours & Scope
Retainers are based on a fixed number of hours or deliverables per month. A standard package includes:

Pre-agreed deliverables (e.g., social media content, updates, etc.)

2. Payment.

Payment is due in advance and reserves your time for that month.

3. Unused Hours
Unused hours do not roll over unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Availability
Retainer clients receive priority scheduling and support.

Standard response time is within [24-48] hours on business days.

5. Termination
Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice.

No refunds for unused time in a current month after the work has started.
