I like to translate.

I've been working as a freelance translator since freelancing just began in my country. Before Internet, I used to put advertisements in a local newspaper, and people brought work to my home. I was writing translations by hand... Now everything is changed, of course.

First I was specializing in technical translations such as user manuals for various machines and appliances (I have engineering education). But sometimes I got medical documentation from my employers, and I got fascinated with the subject. I was also attracted by the idea of helping people. I have great experience in many types of medical & pharmaceutical documentation, such as clinical trial protocols, patient consent forms, package leaflets, descriptions of pharmaceutical production and testing etc.

In 2022, when the war started, me and my family had to leave Russia. Currently I live in Argentina, with all hardships of immigration status. With the war, my workload gradually decreased which makes me desperate. I still hope to find my place in this world.
