Hi, I'm Hans, a Full-Stack Developer based in Ormoc City, Philippines, with a B.S. in Computer Science from Visayas State University.

My journey into web development started with curiosity about how ideas become real products people can use. That curiosity led me to build Ormoc City Project Information System, a three-tier civic-tech platform (React, Node.js, Express.js, MySQL) that helps residents and local government share project updates and feedback more efficiently. Seeing something I built actually solve a real community problem convinced me this is the work I want to do.

I gained hands-on industry experience as an On-the-Job Trainee at JAE Hub Web Services, where I helped build and maintain e-commerce websites using ASP.NET Core, C#, and nopCommerce including a dynamic shopping cart and secure checkout system. I also picked up practical skills in cloud deployment (Microsoft Azure) and Git-based version control while working inside a real development team.

Today, I work across the stack:
• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, responsive design
• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs

I care about communicating clearly so clients always know where a project stands. As someone early in my career, I bring energy, a genuine eagerness to learn, and the discipline of someone building a long-term reputation, not just finishing a gig.

Work Terms

Availability:
I'm currently available part-time to full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (GMT+8, Philippine Time). I'm happy to shift my schedule to overlap with clients in other time zones for calls, just let me know what works for you.

Communication:
I prefer to agree on one primary channel per project (Guru messages, Messenger, Zoom, WhatsApp, Google Meet, Discord, or email). I aim to respond within 24 hours on business days and give proactive progress updates rather than waiting to be asked.

Process:
Every project starts with a short discovery conversation, followed by a clear scope, requirements, and timeline before any code is written. I share updates regularly. I address reasonable revisions to ensure client satisfaction.

Payment:
All payments are made securely through Guru's SafePay system. For clearly defined projects, I prefer fixed pricing broken into milestones, released as each phase is completed and approved. For ongoing or evolving work, I'm open to hourly billing with regular time logs. For new clients, an initial milestone payment before major work begins helps both sides commit with confidence.

Revisions:
Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included at each milestone. Requests outside the original scope are welcome but will be quoted and agreed on separately, so pricing stays fair and transparent for everyone.
