Hi, my name is Pooja Shivdasani and I am a marketing professional and writer. I spent ten years in the field of consumer insights, rural marketing and advertising combined. My choice of career paid me to do what I loved to do – be an ardent student of people.
I quit the corporate workforce four years ago to give my passion for storytelling – both in business and the arts an honest shot.
My firm Hasco is a privately owned multi-capability outfit with interests in scriptwriting, marketing content creation, proposal and presentation writing, lyrics writing and brand story creation.
On the face of it, all these seem disparate. But it all stems from my core belief, ‘Stories are everything’. Anything that you and I see, be it work or play, be it memory, reality or hope stems from a story, grows into one and eventually culminates into another.
The objective is to combine intelligence and instinct to help individuals and corporates create, communicate and share their own special stories with the world.
These could take the form of a speech, a comic book script, a script for a math lesson, a jingle, a business proposal, a newsletter or even a pitch presentation.
No marks for guessing that there is a story behind the firm’s name as well – it was the brand name under which my Dad launched a range of stationery products. He now looks out for me from above. Hasco is a dedication to the man who taught me to believe.
