Writer, editor and researcher with scientific and creative skills
In 2003 I completed a Bachelor of Science with first class honours in Environmental Science. Since then, as well as travelling extensively, I have worked in several positions for consultancies, NGOs, the Australian Government, a Natural Resource Management organisation and at the Australian National University as a research assistant. While working at the ANU, I discovered that I had the patience and perfectionism required to produce clearly written, error-free scientific text and accompanying displays of data. I have proof-read papers, reports, presentations and dissertations for friends and colleagues, and contributed interesting diagrams, graphs and charts using Excel, Illustrator, PowerPoint and other specialised programs. A variety of workplaces, as well as my own travel blogging and wide reading have exposed me to many writing styles and subjects.
My specialty fields for research or technical contributions are environmental science, natural resource management, archaeology and natural history, but I can competently edit or proof-read any type of English document. Clear, concise, cliche-free text is required for all kinds of professional writing; I am here to help you improve your work, or creatively contribute content!
