I’m an Italian freelance translator. A committed and dedicated professional with a proven ability to translate from a source language to a target language, to meet deadlines and to satisfy customer’s needs.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: I’ve been working as a translator on a social media platform since September 2013. I constantly translate a various array of texts, ranging from politics, economy, social issues and philanthropy to fashion, sport, tourism, movies, art and literature. Since March 2014 I’m also working as an editor on the same platform. I’ve also contributed to the Italian localization of a few websites.

EDUCATION: Master’s degree in Languages for International Cooperation and Communication (full marks with honors) and Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation Sciences (full marks with honors), University of Milan. During my studies, I had the chance to attend many seminars and courses on translation and specialist languages. I also lived for some time in Tokyo and Berlin, attending language schools for foreigners.

CAT: SDL Trados 2009, Translation Workspace, Omega T. Able to master new software applications in minimum time.

RATES: Flexible, dependent on the type of job.
