I have touched all aspects of Marketing in my career and have worked with clients of all sizes. At HSBC I worked with large corporate clients for 17 years before moving to consulting, where for the past 12 years I specialize in smaller to mid-size. I've worked with clients in the home improvement, consumer electronics, health care, automotive, manufacturers and non-profits to direct marketing agencies as their Marketing thought leader. Prior to HSBC I worked in various corporate retail positions with two companies after graduating from Arizona State University.

I pride myself on being a problem solver, a marketer who is data driven, who has the experience to know expected returns. I've worked on literally 1000s of campaigns across traditional channels, online channels and digital. Integrating these to achieve superior results has been my track record. I've created comprehensive Marketing Plans that are actionable, measurable and truly omni channel. I am very involved in the execution of these plans and create the metrics and dashboards to measure their success. I take the program from its concept stage, through research and targeting, to content and design ending with analysis and refinement. I provide art direction and oversight for direct mail, collateral, website development and digital communications.

Having risen through the ranks in the corporate world, I bring that discipline to my consulting work. I focus on building brand strength, writing on-point MarComm to achieve short-term and long-term strategic goals.

Based in the Chicago area I am a true northsider: first Cubs game was when I was 5 years old and have bled Cubbie blue since. I'm an avid reader, everything from news journals and magazines to novels and blogs. I can say as a home chef I've only sliced my finger once in all that time.

Work Terms

Available normal business hours, but understand the importance of flexibility to get the project completed. I don't miss deadlines and know all about how things can change between start and finish.

Most fixed projects, depending on length, are milestone based. Generally this is 50% at mid-point or deliverable specific, and all remaining to be paid at project completion. If the project is longer-term or requires multiple deliverables, there will be multiple milestones and payment.

I am available for retained weekly hours for clients needing more intensive work or wider-range consulting. These relationships are paid weekly or bi-weekly.

Project-based assignments are usually initiated by a call/Skype to discuss the scope and a Statement of Work is created. From here we can communicate via email, calls or Skype. I always respond the day of, or if late in the evening, the next morning. Communications is key to success and there must be open 2-way timely communications by both parties. I am flexible about the manner based on client preferences. Retained positions generally have a higher degree of interaction as they are more open ended.

I treat every client and project with the highest degree of professionalism. I treat each project I work on as an extension of the client and ensure it is the highest quality.
