If you’re looking for accuracy and attention to detail, commitment to stick to deadlines and reliable to a fault, I’m the missing link in your great team!

I have created two to three websites in the past ten or more years, all of them for different types of business projects that I tried. Other work included writing copy for the websites, blogs, creating marketing materials and doing general office admin. This means that all the tasks involved lots of typing.

My past work experience included: accounts, forex and insurance client services consultant, and general office admin in the banking and re-insurance industry for 25 years, which makes me pretty old to be competing with young, and more alert professionals, you would think.

However, this does not mean that I cannot compete with them; in fact, I think I can actually beat them at some of the things learned only through years of work experience, like being professional in order to provide excellent customer services, for example.

I have a good track record capturing data (alpha-numeric), which is important to the projects that I pursue as a freelancer, but I believe the rest of my experience mentioned, should also put me in a position to handle other admin tasks if called upon to do so.

I went into semi-retirement during the period that I tried my own projects, but also started a temping career during the same time to supplement my income. I temped for the same employment agency from 2006 to 2009, while at the same time working my business. During these years, I was known for my reliability, commitment, attention to detail, typing and multi-tasking skills, especially in forex; where the pace is fast, and where typing is combined with speaking with clients at all times. I did brilliantly during these years, especially when I temped at Standard Bank and AIG South Africa, each company giving me a two-year contract.

My intention here is to let you know that I have the skills to complete any task given to me

Work Terms

My working hours are as follows:
Monday - Thursday:
1. 09:00 - 13:00 (SAST)
2. 24:00 - 05:00 (SAST)

The hours mentioned are for South African Standard time, and I prefer the second option due to time differences in certain countries. It means that I will be available to employers in countries like the USA during their day-time hours.

I don't work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and would prefer contracts for 3 month to longer periods.
