Software Engineer with a data analysis background

I'm a professional software engineer with a background in bioinformatics and data analysis. I have "fluency" with Go, R, and JavaScript (client-side and Node.JS), but have spent time using dozens of other languages and frameworks over the years.

In addition to developing software (web, server, desktop, and mobile), I've also spent a great deal of time analyzing data in R. I'm very comfortable extracting and transforming data from a variety of systems as simple as CSV or as complex as proprietary massively scalable relational data stores.
