Product Designer - UX Design & Development – AI Systems Usability
The Trust Gap in AI Adoption: I work at the intersection of AI usability and enterprise systems, not as a passive adopter,
but as one of the most consequential stakeholders in this conversation. My design decisions
around how AI surfaces its reasoning, handles edge cases, and communicates uncertainty are
fundamentally ethical decisions with designs that drive transparency and oversight, prioritizing accuracy and speed without sacrificing either.
Role-based transparency: Users need to understand why an AI is making a recommendation,
not just what it recommends. When systems adapt dynamically to roles and permissions, that
adaptability itself needs to be visible to the user. Interaction Design and motion can help users make those connections instantly.
Governance: I design AI systems where ownership is clear: decisions are traceable, outputs are attributable, and handoffs between human and machine are documented.
Consent and control: Users engage with AI when they have direct, visible controls to pause, adjust, or override it then return to previous work.
Work Terms
Scope of Work
I deliver design solutions tailored to your project needs, including logos, website mockups, social media graphics, and related assets. All deliverables are provided in your preferred formats (PNG, SVG, PDF, etc.). Each project includes two revision rounds to ensure your satisfaction.
Payment Options
I offer flexible payment structures to suit your project:
Fixed Price: One total cost for the complete project, with optional milestone payments
Hourly Rate: $50/hour with a maximum of 40 hours per week
Milestone-Based: Project broken into stages (e.g., $[X] for concept, $[X] for final design)
Retainer: Ongoing monthly fee for continuous brand updates and design support
Timeline & Availability
I typically deliver final designs within 5 business days of concept approval. I'm available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and respond to all inquiries within 4 hours.
Communication & Project Management
All project communication, file sharing, and progress updates occur through Guru's WorkRoom. This keeps everything organized and documented in one place.
Revisions & Approvals
You'll approve the initial concept through WorkRoom, with two revision rounds included per milestone. Additional revisions are available at an agreed-upon rate.
Payment Security
All payments are processed through SafePay, which holds funds until you've approved the completed work.
