About

10+ years as Sales Support Admin in corporate office, looking for better work/life balance by working from home-based office. Worked with VP of Sales and reported to CFO.

My career started in education/teaching, then I owned a retail business for five years. While managing the business, I also worked part-time as a bookkeeper for a different local business. After selling my business, I began my career in the corporate world, in a "typical" 8-5 office setting. I thrive on new challenges and approach them with energy and commitment. My strongest motivator when it comes to my work is achieving efficient results while emphasizing quality.

When it comes to my organizational skills and attention to detail, my former managers and colleagues would tell you how much enthusiasm I have for it, as well as how successful I’ve been at it! * Process Improvement – Evaluated, organized and instituted Standard Operating Procedures for processes within the company Sales Support department using the Microsoft OneNote tool, creating more standardization and organization for the department. Upon completion of the project, other departments recognized the benefit of the Community SOP and chose to create and implement one for their departments as well.

* Project Management – Spearheaded project to develop Interdepartmental Procedures document. Improved employees’ ability to easily access company policies and procedures; document published on company Intranet.

* Implemented Lean Techniques – Influenced a manual, paper-centric process to become paperless, helping company achieve more timely recognition of revenue.
